About us
Hi there! We are the BiciCats, a Portuguese-Polish bike-travelling duo! We both started our nomadic careers as solo cycle travellers but after meeting on the road and finding a common love for bikes, outdoors and all things adventure we decided to stick together. Since 2022 we’ve been living on the road, with short breaks between journeys. We are always thinking “what’s next?”.
We are currently on the road, on our biggest adventure so far – facing the roads and the waters (when needed) of Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia to reach New Zealand. Join us on the journey to the other side of the world!

Mateusz Jabłoński
From Gdynia, Poland.
Naval engineer by trade and education, but after 3 years of work in the field, I traded the office chair for a bike seat.
Started travelling to find myself on the journey, ended up finding a wife. Still on the search for myself. Massive gear-head, love everything bike related, optimizing my ride for the adventures and trying new bike gadgets and camping gear.
Atlas
A lean, mean touring machine built out from a Salsa Marrakesh frameset. I custom-built Atlas from the frameset, down to the smallest details, wheel building included. Earned his name after crossing the Moroccan High Atlas in winter. Atlas is my never ending project and a playground for countless upgrades and small changes. Together we covered over 25.000 km, and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
Alma
Alma is a Kross Trans 2.0 – “just” a trekking bike.
We started our adventure together in Lisbon commutes, then we went to Iceland – big jump for both of us!
After many kilometers together and many upgrades, we’re more than ready for our next big ride.
Renata Henriques
I’m from Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
Studied Psychology, but in my last job, I worked as a Software Developer.
I travel to be outside.
I believe the best experiences happen to us when we are out exploring.
Lately, I’ve been exploring an old passion: photography.
